Antique French wicker market cart. I LOVE these carts so much & this particular style is hard to find now! I wish people still used these at markets since they're so beautiful! I love the solid branch handle with the curve. Made of woven willow & the wheels are metal/plastic attached with screws & washers on the inside of the basket. Vintage French rattan bottle carrier basket. Mid-century modern era. You could take this cute basket on picnics, to carry bottles of cordial, water, or wine in. You could even make baguette sandwiches wrapped in paper & put into each spot! These are very hard to come by & is the first I've seen! It features curved rattan nailed together & is very solid/sturdy. It can carry 6 bottles (wine, flip top bottles, beer, glasses, canning jars, etc.). The tall stoneware bottles in the shoppe would look really good in this too! French canning jars not included, but are for sale in a separate listing.

Antique French harvest basket from Normandy, France. Circa early 1900โs. I purchased this basket a few years ago from France where the picker found it inside of an old barn in Normandy! Itโs been one of my favorite baskets Iโve owned, but itโs time for it to go to a new home! Made of stripped willow in a buttocks style, but the bottom is almost flat. Itโs long so it can hold longer things like rhubarb, flowers, vegetables, etc.

Condition | Very good condition for itโs age! Scuffs on the wood, a few tiny ends broken on the wicker, but nothing noticeable at all unless youโre searching. Very clean!
1 vintage galvanized sap bucket. These buckets were used for making maple syrup! They originally had metal lids that slipped over the top edge of the bucket so no debris would get inside. The buckets would hang on the tree so the sap would flow into them. These buckets can still be used for making syrup, but you'll need a lid, otherwise there are so many decor uses for these! You can arrange flowers in them, grow plants in them, use as an umbrella holder, kindling bucket, etc.! One of the buckets has the brand "King" stamped into the metal (no coloring on it).

Large English wicker potato harvest basket. This beautiful & unique shaped basket was found in a Wisconsin farmhouse which was originally brought over from England during the late 1800โs. The owner told me it was originally a potato harvest basket. I searched for awhile to try to find any baskets that look like this one & I couldnโt find any so it is very rare & unique! The color of the willow is a dark brown with a slight red tone & some faded spots. It has a wood bottom which is very sturdy. Would look beautiful storing linens, logs, blankets, etc. in it since itโs large, but also can be used for harvesting potatoes, apples, pears, etc.!

Antique French boulangerie baguette wicker basket. These were used in French bakeries to hold all the baguettes & thatโs why the sides are more open so air can get through. This basket is a very old one!

Condition | Good used condition with aged patina. Slightly wobbly if youโre moving it at the top back & forth, but otherwise sitting there with things inside itโs sturdy.
French wicker baguette basket. These baskets were traditionally used for proofing dough. The baskets were lined with linen then the dough was proofed in the basket to form the baguette shape. You can even store your baguettes inside the basket or use it for utensils. I have multiple available so I will choose 1 of them from my collection.

French farmhouse wire globe egg/salad basket. These baskets were originally used for harvesting salad greens until they became popular for collecting eggs! People used to cut their greens, put them in the basket, then wash them through the basket, & shook the basket to drain them off. I love using these baskets for collecting our eggs & for greens! The basket is supposed to have a wire closure so you lift both sides up then clasp them shut, but the wire hook is missing. You can easily make one with a small piece of wire wrapped around one handle then make a hook to attach it to the other handle.

Large French farmhouse harvest basket. This basket is the perfect size for harvesting a large amount of fruits, vegetables, flowers, or foraging mushrooms! It's hard to find buttocks baskets that are this big & so strong. It's made of split wood as the base with woven willow & a thick grapevine handle. It can hold a lot of weight. The bottom is rounded, since it's a buttocks style basket, so there is a little woven willow ring attached underneath to try to keep it standing up.

French grape harvesting basket. These baskets were originally used strapped to the farmers backs then they would toss the grapes into the basket for easy carrying! The original straps are missing, but it's still a beautiful basket to use as decoration. It is a large basket with lots of room for dried or fresh flowers or anything you want to display inside! It features an original dark red paint, but it can easily be stripped to the bare wood with paint stripper. The basket is made out of rattan (bamboo) for light carrying.
